Snowmobiling:
SquareValley.org
Bass Lake Resort has been home for many winter enthusiasts, helping
create lasting memories for snowmobilers for over 15 years, and
for good reason:
- We get over 200”
of snow a year – and sometimes a lot more! Like last winter,
when we were on national and even international news. People
came from all around the world to see the eleven feet of snow
that fell in only four days! Lake Effect snow is a blessing
to snowmobilers and we’re located right in the heart of
it. In Parish, NY.
- The snow is here,
so why travel any further, especially with the price of gas?
And, what's more important– two to four hours of time
hauling sleds over the highways - or those same hours riding
the trails on your sled instead? And then the same when it's
time to go home.
- We are conveniently
located only three miles off Interstate 81– and only 25
miles north of Syracuse. Lots of room for parking, too.
- Our trail, only
a mile to the official New York State Trail System, is groomed
in cooperation with and by the Square
Valley Trail Blazers. We are also only a mile from Happy
Valley, the state’s third largest managed land preserve
where sleds are free to roam and explore.
- Two renowned “sled-sheds”
within five miles by road for those unexpected needs for a fix,
or the latest upgrades and apparel.
- Updated Trail
Maps available. And lots of friendly locals who know the ropes
and can get your day on the trails off to a great start.
- Home of the Annual
Antique Snowmobile Show sponsored in cooperation with the Square
Valley Trail Blazers. Come see the fascinating old sleds
and join us for a great date on January 19th.
- Can't find a reasonably
priced motel room – or any room at all at one of the alleged
"hot-spots?" Try one of our totally self contained
cabins or park models that sleep several people and come complete
with ‘condo-style’ equipped kitchens. Please see
our Contact Information to make a reservation.
You should make Bass
Lake Resort your next destination for a great getaway with family
